"The UX Files- Designing with Figma" is a workshop of five lessons held between December 2023 and March 2024 for students of Acadmy of Fine Arts in Bologna. The first two lessons combined theory and practice, introducing students to the principles of UX and UI and to the basics of Figma. Theoretical topics included usability, UX and UI fundamentals, interface evolution and styles, content organization, accessibility, color use, contrast, error messages, and motion design.
From the third lesson onward, students worked in small groups to design and prototype an application using Figma. The initial phase of the group project was guided, focusing on brainstorming and teamwork. At the end of the workshop, each group presented its project to the class. Overall, student participation was high, and the final projects exceeded the expectations and requirements of the project brief.
