Artistic Residence

A one-week artist residency in Udine and hosted by Le(Serre exploring the relationship between graphic design, screen printing, local memory and territory, curated by Due Punti and developed together with artist Federica Montesanto.
The project investigated how signs, images and stories connected to the territory can be collected, reinterpreted and transformed through printmaking. The residency became a space for experimentation, combining graphic research and hands-on production to create new visual interpretations of Campoformido and its surroundings.
A project somewhere between graphic design, artistic research and the materiality of print, where the process itself became part of the final outcome.
The residency culminated in “A erin dome cjamps” — “It was all countryside” in Friulian — an exhibition bringing together the different outcomes of the research. The project included a series of digital and screen prints, works combining the two techniques, a video component, and an interactive installation based on the transparency of paper and the overlapping of visual layers.
The exhibition also included a hands-on workshop, inviting visitors to experiment with screen printing and cyanotype, turning the final presentation into a space for participation and shared experimentation.
