In March 2025, I took part in a one-week artistic residency in Campoformido (Udine), together with artist Federica Montesanto. The intersection of screen-printing and graphic design practices, which characterises the work of the two artists, became a tool for exploring the relationship between memory, marks, and the visual layers of the territory.
The mark, understood as a trace, imprint, or gesture, lay at the heart of their research: observed, collected, and graphically reworked to offer a new reading of the space. Compositional elements were reinterpreted and rearranged, creating a visual language that oscillates between abstraction and recognisability.
